When Was the Last Time the Dallas Cowboys Won a Super Bowl?

Over the last few decades, the Dallas Cowboys have been a dominant force in the NFL, but when was the last time the Dallas Cowboys won the Super Bowl? In this article, we'll be taking a look back on the Cowboys' history, tracing their journey from 1995 to the present day to answer this all-important question.

The History of the Dallas Cowboys

The Dallas Cowboys Superbowl is one of the most popular and successful teams in professional American football. They have won two Super Bowls, five NFC East titles, ten Conference Championships, and two NFL championships.

The Cowboys were originally founded in 1960 as an expansion team for the NFL. At that time they were known as the Dallas Texans. The Dallas Cowboys Super Bowl Rings played its first season at Texas Stadium in Arlington (Dome) before moving to a new stadium, Texas Stadium in Irving, Texas. In 1971 the team was renamed the Dallas Cowboys after a public contest held to choose a new name for the franchise.

The Dallas Cowboys Super Bowl years,  since their founding in 1960, have made many memorable plays throughout their history. One of these plays was when Larry Brown caught a pass from Roger Staubach on November 8th, 1972 against the New York Giants.

The Last Time the Dallas Cowboys Won a Superbowl

In the last fifty years, only three teams have won Super Bowls. The Dallas Cowboys are one of them.

In the 1970s and 1980s, the Dallas Cowboys were one of the best teams in the NFL. They won three Super Bowls between 1971 and 1979 and appeared in another five.

Since then, the Dallas Cowboys super bowl wins are four more Super Bowls, and lost each time:
